Jean-Pierre Colin (JP) is public company executive and a corporate strategy consultant to resource and clean technology companies. He was a pioneer of Flow Through Shares who led $ Billions in Flow Through Share financings in Canada during his thirty-year career as an investment banker on Bay Street in Toronto. He also initiated numerous public Flow Through Share Funds which in aggregate successfully managed and invested over $750 Million.

 

During his career as an investment banker, JP led corporate finance, syndication and M&A professionals focussing on resources and technology sectors, including Clean Technology.

 

JP is Executive Vice President & Director of dynaCERT Inc. (TSX:DYA) and holds an MBA from Ivey of Western University, an LL.L degree in Civil Law from the University of Ottawa, a Certificate in Comparative Law from University of Manitoba, a D.C.S. (Ecology) from McGill University and is a member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec (avocat a la retraite). JP serves on the Hydrogen Strategy Working Group, advising the Ontario Government  on its hydrogen economy policy.

Stephen Kukucha

Executive Vice President &

Director of Galaxy Power

Stephen is an authority on Clean Technology in Canada who shares the view that Galaxy Power is creating a world hub of Clean Technology in Canada.

 

Stephen is a Partner at PacBridge Partners and a Board Member of SDTC, Sustainable Development Technology Canada, which is funded by the Federal government and invests in Clean Technology in Canada.

 

As well as his illustrious career at Ballard Power, Stephen has served as Vice-Chair, Fuel Cells Canada, Chair; Canadian Transportation Fuel Cell Alliance; Steering Team & Planning Committee – California Fuel Cell Partnership; Member, US Dept. of Energy’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Advisory Panel; Director, National Hydrogen Association (U.S.) & Director, US Fuel Cells Council.

Stephen brings to Galaxy Power his wise and patient negotiation skills as well as his extensive close personal relationships in many of the diverse aspects of Canadian Clean Technology.

 

Stephen holds a law degree and is a lawyer in the Province of British Columbia.

Sarbjit Kaur

Member of the Advisory Board

Advisor, Government Relations 

Sarbjit Kaur brings to Galaxy Power her an award-winning communications professional achievements with a background in journalism, government and public relations. She ran her own consulting firm, Kaur Communications and was also a Senior Associate at Toronto-based Argyle PR for almost a decade, before launching KPW Communications in 2019. 

 

Prior to starting her consulting career, she served in senior communications roles in the Office of the Minister and in the Ontario Public Service at four government Ministries: The Ministry of Transportation, The Ministry of Small Business & Entrepreneurship, The Ministry of Consumer Services, and The Ministry of Government Services. She also served as Acting Director of Communications & Corporate Secretary of Ontario Creates, an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

 

Sarbjit works with clients from diverse sectors and is the recipient of: the IABC Gold Quill award (the highest honour for communications professionals); CPRS National Gold Award, IABC-Toronto Ovation Award and the IABC Toronto Ovation Award of Merit in Social Responsibility.

 

Sarbjit has served on numerous boards and advisory committees. She regularly comments on matters related to current affairs and public policy on Global TV, CTV, CP24, Talk 1010 and others.

Lawrence Casse

Member of the Advisory Board

Senior Research Analyst

Lawrence has over 20 years of in-depth track record in the public Securities Industry as well as private venture capital, with a strong focus on Clean Technology and ESG.

 

Lawrence was a well-regarded Institutional Research analyst in Technology at prestigious Canadian dealers, Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon and M Partners. His research and comments have been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, the Globe & Mail and La Presse for his insightful analysis. Lawrence was one of the early research analysts to successfully cover water treatment, ecologically safe transportation as well as wind and solar investments on Bay Street.

 

Lawrence also served as a wealth advisor at IG Wealth Management and understands the high net worth retail investor interest in Clean Technology. He has many years of know-how in explaining high growth opportunities to the investing public.

 

Lawrence is currently Chief Financial Officer of Birdview Insight Inc., a software company with systems for management, scheduling and analysis of complex projects, bidding for international contracts with engineering firms conducting Clean Technology projects.

 

As the founder of AlphaEdge Inc. he was instrumental in raising capital for significant number of Clean-Tech companies. As the former Vice President of Investments at CVF Technologies Corporation, a venture capital team, he brings to Galaxy Power the successes and experiences of leading the due diligence, selection and implementation of private placement financings of numerous Environmental and information technology growth companies in Canada.

 

Notably, Lawrence was a consultant and team member at Western Wind Energy Corp., a company that built lucrative Wind projects in California and developed Solar projects in Puerto Rico, subsequently acquired by Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners. While at CVF Technologies, Lawrence was involved in the management and development of fostering SRE Controls, a supplier of electronics and software for industrial Electric Vehicles as well as Biorem Inc., a provider of Air Emissions and Odour Control systems.

 

Lawrence holds a B.A. (Economics & Philosophy) from the University of Toronto and has completed Level I towards a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He also qualified for licenses of LLQP and MFDA.

Nicholas Colin
Vice President, Corporate Development & Member of the Advisory Board

Nicholas Colin is a sales and marketing professional at dynaCERT Inc., a TSX listed company, who engages with senior company executives to support the company’s growing sales agent and dealer relationships.

 

He has been selected project lead for important company events, including trade shows across North America and Europe and has contributed to various high-level meetings with shareholders, dignitaries and politicians. Nicholas is an environmentally conscious individual and has been with this outstanding green tech start-up since 2018.

Nicholas also has an active and creative role in dynaCERT’s social media presence, contributes to the design of its corporate website and provides in depth advice and start to finish execution of its written publications such as company articles, newsletters and brochures.

 

Nicholas also has had exposure to the investment and finance industry through co-ops at CI Investments and Blackrock Metals Inc., and he has been a part of the dealer support team at Canadian Tire.

 

Nicholas's track record of proven marketing and communication skills enhance his communications with financial market executives, the brokerage community, research analysts, investment bankers and other capital markets professionals regarding Galaxy Power's latest initiatives.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Finance from Dalhousie University. He has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Paul Bliss

Advisor, Press Media

Paul Bliss is a communications expert with 35 years experience in media that spans radio, television and print newsrooms in Canada’s largest markets.

 

His insider knowledge and decades-long strategic relationships provide Galaxy Power a unique perspective and understanding of the ever-changing media landscape and issues both domestic and international.

 

From reporting to writing, and interviewing Prime Ministers, Presidents and Premiers, Paul’s wide-ranging experiences include danger-zone reporting amidst disasters such as hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, and anarchist riots.

 

A winner of the Edward R. Murrow International Award, his specialties include investigative, political, and enterprise reporting.

Galaxy Power relies on Paul for his extensive profile building capabilities, his reach with important Media journalists and senior executives, his accomplished advice regarding Canadian Media exposure and his depth of knowledge in CleanTech's advancing and growing public image.

Outside media, Paul has taught journalism at Humber College, worked as Vice President of a major Production Company overseeing hundreds of network TV shows, and was President of a successful Dotcom start-up.

 

Curious by nature, he pursues astronomy as a hobby with his beloved telescope and collection of binoculars.

Paul graduated with Honours from the famous Journalism program of the Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Amir Farahi

Amir Farahi is a Government Relations and Public Affairs consultant and is President of the Farahi Group of Companies. His public affairs firm serves a highly established clientele consisting of privately held enterprises and large national corporations. Amir has extensive business knowledge of real estate, project management. His companies provide hundreds of millions of dollars in value added to clients. Amir is a Director of a public CleanTech company.

 

Amir’s years of involvement with Municipalities and Governments and Utilities is fundamental to Galaxy Power’s Mission of engaging at such levels of leadership.

 
Amir was columnist for 3 years for Metroland Media Group, a subsidiary of Torstar Corporation. He was a political commentator for Bell Media Inc. His municipal experience involves being Chair of the City of London’s Transportation Advisory Committee when it was planning to implement its Rapid Transit Bus initiative.

 

Amir was also a co-founder of FillSpaces Technologies Inc., which was a recipient of funding from Western University's Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship Powered by Ivey Business School, and the Ontario Centre of Excellence funding for its artificial intelligence and machine learning applications. Amir was appointed as a senior advisor to Fanshawe College for the establishment of its acclaimed innovation centre.


Amir holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western University.

Cali Van Zant

Cali is the go-to person for business development, networking and marketing at Investorideas.com. Jim Payne

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galaxy Power

Jim Payne is President & CEO of dynaCERT Inc., a very successful Toronto Stock Exchange listed company which markets globally carbon emissions reduction technology.

 

Jim is also the founder and President and CEO of V2R Group Inc., (an acronym for "Vision-to-Reality") a project management company in the City of Toronto. He serves as a Director of Lindsey Villages for families with Autism. Jim is also a Member of the Advisory Board of Sparta Capital, a TSX Venture Issuer, which owns and holds a controlling interest in a network of independent businesses that supply energy saving technologies designed to reduce energy inefficiencies, achieve reduced emissions and increase operating efficiencies in various industries.

Jim has been called to the Hydrogen Strategy Working Group, advising the Ontario Government  on its hydrogen economy policy.

Jim is also a Director of Saturn Oil & Gas, an energy producer listed on the TSX Venture Exchange which is committed to upholding its reputation as an environmentally responsible and thoughtful entity.

As Chairman of Galaxy Power, Jim has the leadership skills, and the long-standing experience to bring about the best elements of teamwork and motivation leading to concrete results.

Khoa Tran

Member of the Advisory Board &

Chief Financial Officer

Khoa Tran has over 20 years of financial reporting and accounting experience, including over 15 years of management responsibilities in successful global businesses involved in manufacturing and clean technology environments.

Khoa brings to Galaxy Power the required and important financial reporting skills and banking negotiation know-how that he has perfected while running public company accounting responsibilities in accordance with securities regulatory requirements.

 

Khoa was previously the Director of Finance for a mid-sized manufacturing company and Controller for Fortune 500 automotive and manufacturing companies with international offices including Valeo Group, Lear Corporation and Faurecia S.E.

 

A driven finance leader, his major focus has been on operational optimization and efficiencies through lean methodologies and best practices for public companies.

 

Khoa has been volunteering as Treasurer for a religious organization in GTA for the last 18 years, being responsible for finances and planning.

 

Khoa holds a B.A. (Economics & Accounting) from York University.

Frank Klees

Member of the Advisory Board

Advisor, Infrastructure Projects

Frank Klees is a highly respected professional who has held senior leadership positions in both the government and private sector. Frank served five terms as a Progressive Conservative Member of the Government of Ontario from 1995 to 2014. He held senior cabinet positions in the governments of Mike Harris and Ernie Eves including Ministers of Transportation and Tourism, Chief Government Whip and Deputy House Leader with additional responsibilities as a Member of the Management Board of Cabinet and the Board of Internal Economy. During 19 years as an elected official, Frank established strong and trusted working relationships at all levels of government. He has extensive business experience in financial services, real estate development and the energy sector, where has been a strong advocate for Flow Through Shares for Clean Technology.

 

Frank was a co-founder and Executive VP of Municipal Gas Corporation, served as Director and Member of the Audit and Governance Committees of Universal Energy Ltd. and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Rockwool North America from 2003 to 2019, and is currently serving as Independent Director of ZEN Graphene Solutions Ltd. and International Solar Solutions Inc.

 

Frank is a Senior Advisor to several public and private enterprises, providing business development, government relations, and strategic advisory services through Klees & Associates Ltd.

Nancy Massicotte

Nancy Massicotte is the President of IR Pro Communications Inc. She has been involved in the investor relations and public relations field for over seventeen years, working with companies in various sectors such as technology, telecommunications, bio-tech, oil and gas and mining as well as CleanTech.

Nancy has an in-depth and thorough understanding of Galaxy Power's Investor Relations needs.

 

Nancy has developed excellent personalized relationships with thousands of brokers, investors, analysts and newsletter writers. Her knowledge and experience enables successful communication to shareholders and the investment community in a particularly comprehensive way.

She has facilitated significant introductions to strategic partners and successfully assisted in sourcing equity and flow through financings of some of Canada's largest, well over multiple dozens of millions of dollars.

Harold Martin

Advisor, Transportation and Automotive Industry

Harold Martin is Chairman and CEO of Martin Technologies where he commissioned 15 global facilities and brings over 45 years of knowledge and achievements in the Clean Tech motor engine industry and has been personally responsible for numerous innovations that have been adopted by many vehicle OEM’s throughout his illustrious career. He led over 100 million miles of vehicle and certified emissions testing for production and specialty vehicles. 

 

Harold has global Clean Tech business experience and is a former Automotive Engineer at General Motors who led numerous programmes and was awarded 20 World Patents and 5 Classified Patents. He has expertise and proficiency in Design, Development, Durability, Manufacturing and Assembly, Vehicle Certification, Homologation, Launch, Warranty and Dealer Network.

 

Harold's contribution to Galaxy Power's due diligence in Transportation innovations is immeasurable and unsurpassed.
 

Harold designed and manufactured the President of United States vehicle and has pioneered numerous Specialty Vehicle programs. Additionally, he is  highly recognized for his development of the Cadillac Norstar engine, which was used by GM for over 20 years.

 

Harold has been profiled publicly by CNN, ESPN, NBC, ABC, FOX, SPEEDVISION, USA Today and Automotive News and was a Speaker for over 75 Corporations and more than 250 schools (70,000 students). He is inducted into the American Auto Industry and earned “best engineered vehicle” awards and chosen as “Racer of the Year” by NHRA.

 

Harold holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a minor in International Finance from Oakland University, and completed System modeling in Vehicle Dynamics, Aerodynamics, and Global Propulsion studies. He  completed the Manufacturing Executive Program of the University of Michigan. Harold also has Top Secret Security Clearance with the United States Government.

Gurjant (Gavy) Randhawa

Advisor, Hydrogen Technology

Gurjant (Gavy) Randhawa has a strong technical Mechanical Engineering background in the Clean Tech Industry. As Gurjant is Head of Research and Development of a public Clean Technology company in Canada he keenly understands the innovations that Galaxy Power is evaluating. He believes in Anthropogenic global warming and has been working on innovative green initiatives for more than a decade.

 

Gurjant co-invented and filed two international patents pending on switching cell technology and amperage-based data analysis for Hydrogen Gas production. Gurjant specializes in hydrogen production electrolysers, PEM fuel cells and proton batteries. He has developed a high-pressure hydrogen delivery system and electrolyser to cut down compression cost in practical applications.

 

Gurjant has worked for large corporations as a Project Manager, including International Tractors Limited, an integral part of the international Sonalika Group of India, one of the largest tractor manufacturers in South Asia, where he perfected his skills in Production, Quality Assurance and Six Sigma.

 

Gurjant also brings to Galaxy Power his forward-thinking skills developed from his work on advanced Carbon Footprint Projects during his Master of Engineering degree and his associated leadership of several projects on on-grid and off-grid green power generation from friction, solar and wind energy.  Galaxy Power also welcomes Gurjant’s unique knowledge of other technologies in Canada such as vibrational analysis of tractor engines, industrial lifting hooks and electro chemical micro-machining.

 

Gurjant graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Dawn Van Zant

Advisor, CleanTech Publications

Dawn Van Zant is the founder and editor of InvestorIdeas.com. She is a very strong female pioneer in the financial markets having participated in every capacity as a trader, a broker, an IR professional and a PR advisor before finally starting “Investor Ideas”.

Dawn has been personally featured in interviews in Business Week, CNN Financial TV, CBS Market watch radio and other financial publications online, radio and print, talking about many issues that are important to Galaxy Power such as renewable energy, water and homeland defense stocks.

Investor Ideas was one of the first retail investor sites to cover renewable energy and CleanTech stocks and led online retail investor conferences, hosting some of the top leaders and experts in the CleanTech investment sector.

 

Dawn, as the go-to expert in the renewable energy sector, also organized the successful North American investment tour for a Dubai conglomerate that resulted in significant millions of dollars in investment in the CleanTech sector with both private and publicly traded companies.

 

Galaxy Power is extremely proud that Dawn is also serving as a 15 year Advisory Board Member for One Spirit, a non-profit organization servicing the Lakota people of Pine Ridge Reservation. The One Spirit mission is to help the Lakota meet the basic needs of their people and provide a culturally rich life for their youth. One Spirit supports the Lakota in their goal of achieving food sovereignty and self-sufficiency in their communities.    

David Bridge

Advisor, Software Technology

David Bridge is an innovative and high-performing professional with extensive background managing Engineering and Technology operations. David can constructively critique software and hardware application development which is a crucial due diligence skill at Galaxy Power.

David is an accomplished leader with extensive knowledge of restructuring and streamlining Engineering & IT to increase efficiency and to reduce cost.  He has many years of extensive knowledge of hardware and software design.

 

David brings to Galaxy Power his senior management technology experience earned through previous positions at AMD, RBC, Virgin Mobile and at Blackberry and Clean Technology companies. In addition, he has successfully personally launched two privately held start-ups so David is well-suited to contribute his unparalleled insight in Galaxy Power's new Clean Technology research initiatives especially as they relate sometimes to software innovations and development and newer Canadian enterprises.

As a senior Technology leader, David helped launch Virgin Mobile in Canada helping it to expand from a start-up to a key competitor in the Telecommunications sector.

In his position at Blackberry as a Director of Infrastructure, Architecture and Engineering David led an international team of engineers through the product development lifecycle and facilitated product launch and ongoing client support.

Jamie MacDonald

Advisor, Carbon Emissions Testing

Jamie MacDonald is President and CEO of Mobile Emissions Testing Inc., Ontario’s largest on-site diesel emissions testing provider, a company that excels in emissions testing for both on-road and off-road power applications while providing professional customer service and advice. 

 

Jamie spent the past 22 year of his professional career determining provincial emissions compliance for on-road heavy-duty diesel-powered trucks and busses. He is also a veteran at providing specialized emissions inspections for off-road diesel equipment as required by the Ontario ministry of labour. 

 

Jamie brings to Galaxy Power his industry leading practical knowledge gained from personally performing over 40,000 emissions inspections which have allowed him to expand his business into providing clean technology alternatives to his extensive customer base.

 

Jamie sees hydrogen as a wonder super fuel that will play a huge part in meeting net-zero emissions goals by 2050.  For almost a decade, Jamie has worked directly with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Parks as part of their on-going focus group. He is recognized by the director of the Ontario Drive Clean emissions testing program for creating new standard operating procedures and other guidelines that help with the program’s continued success.
